The Turks Head has its own adjoining pub and restaurant,the chef has designed a menu based on local produce. Additional shops, pubs and restaurants in the village of Rothbury can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot.

The National Trust site of Craigside House and Gardens is a 4-minute drive away. The hiking trails of Coquetdale are 3 miles away from the property, and the Northumbria coastline can be reached in 30 minutes by car.

Double or Twin Room with Private Bathroom. This cottage was originally stables for the coaching inn, it is situated in the garden just off the patio area, off of the pubs beer garden. It has a choice of either king-size bed or twin beds. It also has a small double sofa bed which can be used for an additional surcharge. It has a new en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. If no bed configuration is requested then a king-size bed will be offered. ;
Double or Twin Room with Private Bathroom. This room offers a patio, free Wi-Fi and separate lounge with 2 sofa beds, coffee table and teacoffee making facilities. The bedroom features a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom. Please specify king-size or twin bed options in the Special Request section when booking. ;
Family Room. This spacious room offers lovely village views and features a Chesterfield leather sofa, a coffee table, a dressing table and a large Freeview flat-screen TV. Please note that this room is located just above the propertys pub and has a reinforced floor for soundproofing. ;
