Higher Faugan - Penzance

Built in 1904 as the home of artists Stanhope and Elizabeth Forbes, Higher Faugan Parc isin private grounds with a large lawn for guest use. It is close to stunning local beaches. Higher Faugan Parc offers a private holiday experience with no public or communal areas.

Each suite feature a mini kitchen, a sofa, an LCD TV and a king-size bed. En-suite bathrooms have a bath and shower. Standard and superior en-suite rooms are also available andare serviced daily.

Kitchens comprise of a fridge, microwave, toaster and teacoffee making facilities. A self-service breakfast is provided in your room. You will find complimentary continental breakfast items to breakfast at your leisure. There is no restaurant or communal space.

Providing accommodation only, the peaceful and secluded Higher Faugan Parc is approached by a 500-metre long driveway, and has free parking and a private helipad. If travelling by car, Lands End, Geevor Tin Mine, the Eden Project and St Michaels Mount are good visitor attractions. Due to location a car is recommended, but not essential.

Parking is available on site and guests receive free parking for 3 nights if the choose the long-term parking option. Lamorna and Porthcurno beaches are close by, as is Mounts Bay for wind and water sports.

Forbes was a member of the influential Newlyn School of painters. Today, artists may enjoy visiting the Newlyn Gallery, Penlee Gallery and Museum, and the Tate Gallery St Ives.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Journey by car is recommended, please note that satellite navigation systems give incorrect directions when close to the property, as such please follow the instructions below.

Please note that many maps and satellite navigation systems do not show the driveway leading to Higher Faugan Parc. The entrance is off Chywoone Hill. If approaching from the north, it is 50 yards (45 metres) on the right after passing Gurnick Road (also on the right).

Rooms that are left in unacceptable conditions will incur a cleaning charge equal to one nights accommodation for that particular room or suite.

Self serve complimentary continental breakfast is provided in the room.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
You are advised to bring your own vehicle as this property is not serviced by public transport.

Superior Triple Room. This spacious room has an extra sofa, free Wi-Fi and a TV. There are no facilities for extra beds in this room. ;
