Mitre Hotel Manchester City Centre - Manchester

Built at the foot of Manchester Cathedral in 1815, the Mitre is one of the oldest hotels in Manchester city centre. It has a restaurant and bar and provides free Wi-Fi in public areas.

Each room features a TV and free tea and coffee, with most also boasting lovely views of Manchester Cathedral, the Corn Exchange, Selfridges and Sinclairs Oyster Bar. Rooms are available both with a private bathroom and with shared bathroom facilities. Please note that there is no lift at the property and no ground floor rooms.

With its grand exterior, Mitre Hotel Manchester City Centre has retained its period charm, but now boasts modern interior design in the bar and guest areas. The front desk is open 247.

Placed next to Victoria Rail Station, the AO Arena is 5 minutes’ walk away. We have an amazing connection to CO-OP Live arena via car (approximately 15 minutes) or via tram (approximately 12 minutes). The hotel is in the centre of Manchester’s vibrant night life, across the square from the Printworks, with the Arndale Shopping Centre just a 4-minutes walk away.

The hotel is ideally placed near Shudehill tram station, making journeys to both Old Trafford and The Etihad Stadium easy for football fans.

Bedroom: You will be allocated one of our cosy small family rooms, within the bedroom there will be 1 x Double bed and 1 x Single bed, TV and tea & coffee making facilities. Bathroom: Our bathroom is en-suite, some of our rooms have a shower only and some may also have a bath (subject to availability - please contact us if you have a preference) this is accessed directly by the bedroom. Please note our Small family rooms are located both on the first, second floor and third floor, if you would like a low floor please reach out to us (subject to availability). Please note that our shared bathroom rooms are located on the 3rd floor which is accessible only by stairs and our two communal bathrooms are located on this floor and include a toilet, sink and shower. ;
Twin Room with Shared Bathroom. This room has 2 x twin beds and does not have a bathroom, however there is a wash basin within the room and you can see Manchester Cathedral out of the window. Rooms each feature a TV and free tea and coffee. Please note that our shared bathroom rooms are located on the 3rd floor which is accessible only by stairs and our two communal bathrooms are located on this floor and include a toilet, sink and shower. ;
Triple Room with Shared Bathroom. This room has 3 x single beds and does not have a bathroom, however there is a wash basin within the room. Some of our Triple shared bathroom rooms have a view of Manchester Cathedral, if you would like this please send us a request and we will see if this is possible. Apartment [Adults only]. Bedroom: Enter our cosy bedroomyou will find 2 x Double beds and 1 Single bed with a TV. Living Area: Enter a relaxing living space with a TV, 2 x Single sofa beds and a kitchenette with a small fridge and a microwave with tea and coffee making facilities. Please note the is a staircase within the apartment and the apartment features a low door and low ceilings in bedroom and bathroom and is located on the second floor. ;
Single Room with No Window. This room has a en-suite bathroom, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Please note that this room does not have a window. The room is located at the bottom of a busy staircase and you may experience noise. ;
