On the banks of Loch Long, this 4-star hotel is surrounded by the magnificent scenery of Scotland’s west coast. There is a garden terrace overlooking the loch, and a lounge bar with wooden carvings and log fires in the colder months.
With handmade shortbread, fluffy bathrobes and organic soaps, rooms at Knockderry Country House Hotel areindividually designed. They come with antique furniture, are decorated with local artwork, and feature a flat-screen TV.
Evening meals are served in the old wood-panelled dining room, with its stained glass windows and pretty views over Loch Long. Full cooked or continental breakfast is also available each morning.
There are a variety of activities you can enjoy around Knockderry, including walking, watersports and fishing. Dunoon and Gourock are around 1 hour and 20 minutes away by road.

Superior King Room. These are the principle rooms in the house on the first floor with views of Loch Long. These rooms feature a king-size bed, and have an en-suite bathroom with a roll-top bath and a shower, flat-screen TV, bathrobes, coffee machine, teacoffee making facilities and complimentary Arran Aromatic toiletries. ;
King Room. Featuring an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, flat-screen TV, bathrobes, teacoffee making facilities and complimentary Arran Aromatic toiletries. Please note that 3 out of the 4 King Rooms pictured are located in the new wing androoms have a selection of limited side, garden or loch facing views.rooms are of varying styles and layout, no 2 rooms are the same. ;
Standard Double Room. Situated in the main house, these rooms are on the first and second floors of the hotel and have limited views. These rooms are en-suite, with a bath andor a shower, a flat-screen TV, bathrobes, coffeetea making facilities and Arran Aromatics toiletries. Room views vary from side view of the garden, limited view over the hotel roof and frosted glass windows with no view. ;
Small Double Room. These 2 smaller rooms are situated to the rear of the hotel and do not have a feature view, but they do have a flat-screen TV and an en-suite bathroom. Room 14 has a shower room. Room 10 has a bathroom with shower over the bath. Both rooms have limited views over the hotel. Rooms include Arran Aromatics toiletries, bathrobes, Egyptian cotton bed linen, teacoffee making facilities.
